It's like everything's against me/us.

The stress is overwhelming.

Lousy studies, money problems with regards to Europe trip, lousy un-recovered voice, lousier and disappointing results, ogl camp- how not to lose my voice? studies how? GP paper tmr how? Everyday coming home late and feeling so drained, less sleep to wake up early to do hw, fast food everyday- unhealthy, but can't afford to fall sick, ulcers forming, throat problems again, no motivation to study, can't pay attention in class/lect, can't sing well, demoralized. Too lazy to run... Alpha work undone, tuition work undone. Hated, got annoyed. Unhappy with myself. A levels schedule is out. How prepared am I?

Fuck this shit.

Ms ong said if we really want it, we just have to keep pushing ourselves. But that's really not easy. :(

I think we should have a mass crying session. At least there's some instant comfort and stress-relief in crying.

Recently I've watched three movies.

The Billionaire is a Thai show. Kinda draggy but quite inspiring cuz it's a true story of the young boss of the seaweed company, who's only 26yo this year! But thought this show would be better cuz this guy acted in SuckSeed!!! (which I liked moreeeeeeee)

We Not Naughty is a local film, I think I'm among the last to catch it but at least I did!!!! :) Wasn't super fantastic, but there was this part which was really sad/touching, but climax wasn't so good I thinkk. The guy (Shawn/Sean/Shaun) is quite cute too. :)

I personally think this is the best amongst the three shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY PYY IS SO CUTE!!!! And all the guys (except the old one, who's the director) are so hot/charming/cute/manly Omggggggggg!!!!!!!! HOW TO TANK!

K but besides that, I really loved the stories in the movie although they're a little cheeesy...

But they are all so sweet. Omggggggg I must go watch it again!

I've been too busy to update this portion of my life I'm sorry for neglecting you. :(

So this week had been fun but school is still sian.

Tues was valentine's day! Everyone brought chocolates and stuff to share but sadly I had two fatass ulcers soni couldn't eat a lot. It was quite fun, and I liked it ^^

At night I met boon Ben Aloy ash Weijie at simpang for dinner and then celebrated Aloy's bday when v and Wl came. I reached home at 4.15 and to my horror I had no keys with me and everyone was asleep...

Thankfully my dad woke up at 5 so I was only stucked outside for an hour.

So I didn't go to school on wed which was also the Total Defence day. Many of them said it was fun. Oh well but I had no regrets cuz I only woke up at 3 lol.

Met Marilyn for the last time before she flies for a last swim. I'll miss her so much. :(

Thursday school ended at 4. Was supposed to watch We Not Naughty but there was no timing that I could watch cuz I had GP tuition later that night. So I haven't watched it yet. :( DEREK LA!!!!! SIGH.

GP tuition was so good, both Sharm and I agreed it was equivalent to one month of PCC's lessons lol. I really have a lot of respect for mrs woo. (then again there's homework sigh)

Friday I forgot to bring my present for my mortal and sadly I was the only one who hasn't given... So sorry Trecia :(

Then I went for the Uni talk which left me as clueless as before as to what I want to do in life.

Then I had choir which I finally met the j1s who are not too bad. Only the first session and we were discussing about the cute boys in school. Hehe lol

After choir I met Lx and Wl for dinner and v joined us for a movie. The Billionaire was boring but inspiring. It was a true story of the seaweed guy lol. In my opinion, they should cast the cuter guy from SuckSeed though.

But the best part of the movie was when Lixuan the bitch said, "excuse me can y'all talk softer" to the couple behind me and Wl who kept talking like they're at home. I seriously hate people who keep talking when they're watch movies in the cinema... Annoying man, watch at home la.

So Lx is the hero haha cuz Wl and I could only "shh" and gave them disturbing looks but they could only keep quiet for 5 seconds each time.

Feels good to be meeting up with the sec school people after so long!!! (the last time was before cny :o) hehe I missed them and I always get courage and more balls with Lx and v lol.

Hmmm besides that... School's the same just that my results are... Lol unspeakable. Mrs Lian said I was smart but I cannot imagine the look on her face when she sees my econs paper I'm sorry. I only got back physics and it's a U sigh. Sorry mr kuah. The other tutors are all useless already lol.

I hope I don't get removed for j1 camp leh... Don't do this to me please :(

Then... Everyday in school I hear people telling me how handsome and charming and awesome they are. Haha seriously cannot tahan them!!!

And I've confirmed that I'm going or the Olomouc trip so I have to save up now for my own expenses. Sighhh!

Tmr-no, today, is Cel's birthday. REALLY hope she'll like whatever we're doing tmr cuz it's her 18th, if it's not going to be a blast, at least it must be freaking ass fun and memorable cuz we love her so much. Omg but it's really hard cuz everyone's so busyyyy and plans KEPT failing so much that all of us kinda gave up at different times I think. And what we looked forward most, the USS plan failed......... Fuck!

My studies are really going down the drain. Learning nothing about chem and math and gp. Damn jialat, besides OGL and choir I really don't know why I'm going to school. Lessons are so dry and boring. It's ok if they're only dry and boring, I don't feel like I'm learning...

Wa it's only January and I really don't know how I'm going to carry on... cuz it's already hard and I'm already losing my focus in school. But I really can't wait for orientation!

Today I was with my OGL cluster the whole day and I really really like those people a lot. :) Awesome fun people. I was soooooooooo proud of our dance and I am soooooo proud of my cluster. But it's quite sad today's the last Saturday before orientation, so prolly after orientation we won't get to meet already until March camp. But I really love the spirit so much, I really don't have enough vocabulary to describe it.

Being an OGL has changed me.

It is absolutely amusing and stunning. From how much I hated TPJC to now, not that I love it with all my heart kind of thing, but now I have a strong feeling about it. I actually will want to protect/defend TPJC when people say negative stuff about it. But then again I'll get sad because ultimately I can't change people's perceptions and all these negative voices are strong... even in our campus ourselves. Since the beginning...

When I first joined the OGLs, I was really sceptical of what the OIC said. He said something like, when people are asked about the TPJC spirit, there's no answer. But we are going to change that.

It sounded like Mission Impossible, really. Cause too many of us hated our school... Almost impossible to change it but look what's happened.

Probably because now I'm part of this huge project, and I really want to prove my worth. And I really wish that all our efforts will be paid.

The only thing that has changed is the attitude. And attitude is really so powerful. Lousy teachers will still be lousy and useless. But now I am proud of my school.

But this change has caused me some discomfort with friends. (I don't know how I can be so utterly honest on my blog, then again it's my blog.) I really hate it when they get J2s to do mass dances/cheers because it is always so hard and awkward to get my friends to do something that they think is lame. I tried to ask them to do, but then Derek just shot back with a question "Would you do it if you were not an OGL?" and then I stopped asking him to do cheers lol.

Because we all knew the answer to that and that's no.

So torn apart. The looks on the faces of my friends are always the hardest to ignore.

Then again I get really awkward again when my friends start to comment on how lousy the school is, or how the OGLs are trying too hard, or how failed the open house was and other depressing stuff like that... Cuz prevly I'd have agreed with them, but now. I just keep quiet cuz idk what to say.

I'm just hoping my friends will not dislike me for this. But I believe... it will have an impact in some ways.

Then along the way came this awesome cluster called Jernite whom I became close with and had a lot of fun with. Suddenly school seemed more fun altogether.

So this had been my OGL journey and orientation is just about to start and I'm really excited, I'm hoping for enthusiastic OGMs!!! :)

Here's an entry before I get wholly enveloped by work. Haven't been blogging since.... Actually I just hadn't been using the lappy/hadn't got any inspiration to write lately.

Ok so what's up recently...

CNY was utterly disappointing and boring. The best part was the codfish. Too awesome, beyond words. Can someone explain to me why it is so freaking expensive? My dad said it costs $80 for a plate (during our reunion dinner at some Hong Kong restaurant), and we had two plates so it was $160 FOR A FREAKING DISH. Omfg food for the rich I guess. :(

Besides that, everything was..... boring. I did not even gamble and the only thing I played with money was Bingo, even though I won a good 20+ bucks hehe. And I only went visiting on the first day so I had nothing to do on the second day, which was also the day I fell sick. :(

And this cny, due to its intense boredom, I caught two movies which I don't really recommend people to watch haha. Ok this hk/sg movie called Dance Dragon something which my mom wanted to watch was quite cute. Jack and Jill was a disappointment too cuz it was Adam Sandler and he has had awesome movies.

Sigh and there's this SG movie that I really wanna watch... But there were no seats every time. FULLY BOOKED THEATRES everywhere omg!!!!!!! How successful/exaggerating is that! But fair enough, many are saying it's a good show!

Ok I know I sound damn whiny but everything's really sian ah.. I don't even... Sigh.

I'm skipping school tomorrow yay. ^^

I absolutely miss that feeling of togetherness- knowing that you will definitely have your friends' backs no matter what happens...

I miss being understood even without having to explain myself and having people who agree with my feelings.

I missed it when we were only concerned about ourselves and didn't give shit to anything/anyone else... Cuz nobody else mattered as much. We were each other's lives. (or at least that's what I felt- they were the most important people.)

I would do anything... To have a friend like that right now. :(

I just need someone like that right now. Sigh. I need a friend to bring me out of situations when I'm uncomfortable or when I'm silently screaming "get me out of here".

Even though it'd been a totally stressful year, it had brought me so much closer to mates whom I had no idea I would still talk to after graduation. Even though it almost tore me apart with all the pressure and with some friends leaving, I think... This just shows who are the ones who will be there.

I do like my jc mates a lot and there are some whom I'd like to keep forever! I hope things do not change in the new year...

But these days have been the best days!!!! I miss the feeling of just being in a group and not caring about the reg of the world. The feeling when we only had us...

And these days I've spent with those people during Xmas and 2012 countdown had been precious. I was so happy even though we didn't do much... Just that kind of comfort that is hard to find elsewhere.

Sooo.. Christmas was pretty good, received much love from my dear ones. ^^ I've been really very happy these days!!!!!! Thanks to everyone who made these days so good and memorable.

24th- Caroling wasn't too good cuz I created a lot of trouble e.g. forgetting to bring white stash for my choir costume and had to get my dad to send it all the way to the hotel for me, not having scores and only asking for them at the last minute, and so on.... But Wild Empire (people whom I carolled with) are a bunch of nicest people I've ever met. (sorry for my limited vocab lol, "nicest" is an understatement) I really liked them!!

After which I went last minute shopping for gifts and I got some Topshop knickers for V and wl hehehe. So sexy!!!! ^.^

I didn't countdown cuz I had a lot of chores to do that night e.g. wrapping presents for tomorrow, ironing choir costume, set alarms, write xmas cards, eat dinner and try to sleep early cuz I had to wake up at six the next morning.

25th- Woke up at six to wash up/put on make up for caroling at The British Club. Didn't expect the place to be literally filled with all ang mohs but it was. I'd say it was the best caroling session cuz Ms Ong was there and I really enjoyed myself! I liked how Ms Ong interacted with the audience and how we walked into the room singing Rudolph cuz a lady requested it.

Then I headed over to Vanetta's house. Hmm but she wasn't at home, but her grandma came I think. So I think she(her grandma) was quite shocked to see me, but I was too tired so I went up her room to sleep... Until more people came haha.

Had bbq, xmas exchange and a whole lot of nonsense with those people hehe. I wrote a card for all of them each. I like them :) I received some shatter nail polishes and hand cream from Weijie and I got Boonz a shirt (which they think looked like a penis -_- sick boys -_-)

And we took group photographs but dearest Weijie who passed CLB didn't understand 喜怒哀乐 so he smiled for all 4 shots. -__-

Stayed over at V's house!!

27th- Supposed to wake up early for a gym trip with Ash Wl and V but, hmmm, it was too crowded so... :) Haha excuses I know. So we caught a movie instead, We Bought A Zoo was quite a good show, I'd recommend it and I think it's better than Sherlock lolz.

"20 seconds of insane courage, embarrassing bravery" was the message behind the movie. With that in mind, courageous V and I embarked on the journey back to Tamp gym, which led to 20 minutes of regret on the treadmill. (for me haha)

Haha BUT both of us came to my house for maggi noodles for supper so all the hard work was gone lololol but I had a good night sleep that night. :)

28th- Met Cel and Eileen for a swim. Felt good meeting up with Eileen after so long hehe, and swimming was good! Then we had sushi dinner toegther, and got some stuff/groceries for picnic the day after.

Slept at about 5am and Idk why. :(

29th- Woke up late and had to be a ninja frying eggs for my sandwiches to bring for the picnic. Went to Marina Barrage for my first time but I thought it was nothing much lol. Saw some flc volunteers heh pretty cool. Hmm I liked sitting there doing nothing though.

Eileen bought me a mini fan and slippers and some rubber bands (-_-) haha and I got Cel a Starbucks tumbler which she already wanted!

Then we went to Mind cafe to play some cool board games. It was fun 8D!!!!

Tmr- 4/7's first ever class dinner since graduation. Dk how it'd go but we've got some plans and I'm expecting to see some loyalty haha.

I appreciate the xmas cards I received, hmmm but not just the 敷衍 kind of xmas greetings. I liked personalized messages cuz they show more sincerity and effort. I like honesty, so I'd try to write a lot for those people whom I've written cards for. I hope you guys like it. :) With LZX stickers hehe.

In a pretentious world like ours today, where too many things are not happening the way we want it in our lives, (even though I'm just a teen myself) living is not easy. Just too many people we want to change, and too many we simply want to forget.

It's hard making genuine friends, even harder to maintain these friendships over time. Because every now and then, someone/something decides to come in and spoil things.

School is hard. The stressful environment where we see seniors staying back at malls or Macdonalds to study is scary. What's scarier is that I will be facing that next year. Haven't thought much about this yet though... Lol. I have the whole year to worry about my studies, so let me off this month.

Family is hard. Fat pa and my mom are always not on good terms recently. How scary it is that these cold wars/quarrels can last so long... Can't picture myself being a mother or a wife next time but if I eventually become one, I hope I'd be a good one. Too young to think about this too.

Diet is hard lol. Always been. We all know!!!!!!! But I really hope I don't get into TAF next year lol. (one of my major concerns lololololololol)

Liking someone is hard. It's extremely more sian when that person doesn't give a shit about you at all. But I guess this happens to majority of the teens? Hmmm. Ok gotta move on gotta move on!!!!

It was extremely nice meeting up with Marilyn!!! Meeting her felt really good! :) I really like her and feels good to be liked too.

Talked about how most things changed, and fortunately how some things didn't. How empty promises are annoying, how silly I was to... Well. Hmm. :)

Glad that we both got over some stuff.

Alrightzzz can't wait for the next time I see her again but I don't think that'd be soon :(

So as a sick person, I've been confined at home today...

And the only thing I could do was to watch movies... Which wasn't exactly a bad thing. I watched The Change-Up and The Back-up Plan, the Mayday Concert movie and some lame tw movie lol.

Yeah so the loserish me can only stay home to watch comedies/romance/chic flicks.

But the horrible sweating, then shivering in cold, then repeat, cycle keeps happening throughout the day and night. And hallelujah my period just had to come at this time.

And my throat's been another ass, I haven't been able to swallow properly at all. I am going to kill people if I don't lose any weight lol.

And this no-big-deal fever caused me to miss dinner with Marilyn who just got back from Aussie.

And!!! Sparta Kook (from Running Man) is in Singapore!!!! But I can't go anywhere cuz I'm stuck to my bed. :( And my lucky Prcs senior got a picture with him, omg jelly!!!!!

Hmm so apparently I learnt from Charlieissocoollike, that humans are made of strings of memories woven together.

Ytd was Derek's birthday, and a whole bunch of us and s16 and his retainee friends went to surprise him at his house at night.

Hehe it was so cliche, like a typical tv plot where lights were switched off and we hid and then a bunch of kids popped out singing Happy Birthday.

It was cool, he was touched, we were hungry. Speaking of which, I skipped last night's dinner!!!

And omg I love his house, so freaking big and pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe the funny thing was that he was so sad the whole day from the Gp lecture. And what's more mean was that one by one left after lunch together after school, hehe but we were soooo guilty...

I think I would have cried too hahaha.

It was a fun night!!! Even though sometimes it got quite awks...

1. Ytd we celebrated Sharm's 18th bday at nihon mura!!!!! We are all gg to get fat!!!!!!

3. Can't rmb what else happened in the week lol.

So this was how my past week went...

Today- was the Chinese A Level paper, sigh don't think I can get my A but oh well!!!

After that I went out with Cel Qf E Luc to Ehub to play lololol. Had some fun crazy time :) My first time playing Kinect but it was fun/quite retarded hehehehe.

Yesterday- I GOT MY IPHONE 4S WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM FINALLY COOL NOW!!! :) The best part is that it doesn't lag when I receive pictures AISEH!!! So I spent the whole day sleeping/fiddling with it.

Saturday- Uncle Simon's wedding was soooooooo romantic. OMG the best part was when he dedicated a song to the bride. When it ended (quite horribly haha he even went off in a part), he said, "I know I'm not a good singer, but I'm going to encore myself one more time" and continued on with another song. Halfway through singing, he suddenly forgot the lyrics and his girlfriend/wife kissed him and he teared. :'(

WHAT CAN BE SWEETER THAN THAT!!!!!!!! Omggggggg!!! Goosebumps moment. Seriouslyyyyyyy :'(

Friday- LAST CHINESE LESSON. I'll miss Tan CB and my chinese classmates who are all so funny. Chinese lessons were never boring!!!!

Went to Nex for lunch with the class girls, and lepaked!

Caught PA3 with V Ash Aloy!! I called Aloy, "Hey want go watch In Time? Justin Timberlake!!!!" and he only found out it was PA3 when we were already seated in the cinema hahaha. But it turned out he wasn't very scared leh, more like me burying my face in V's arm beside me, and her covering herself with her jacket. PA3 is a prequel to PA2. Cooooololol we sat at Mac until midnight then we went home. (PS. Fun fact: Ash ran to TM from home in 10 minutes cuz we were late for show hahahaha)

Thursday- HAROLD CALLED ME PREGNANT.

Lepaked in school till night!!!! Ate dinner with E's pw grp and Cel. :)

I remember I used to have really long conversations over the phone with my friends long long ago. We could talk for hours or so at night, until either one of us was falling asleep... I remember calling up friends, even friends whom I see everyday, just because I was bored and had nothing better to do!!! Then we'd talk nonsense for the whole night until my phone was all heated... We'd talk about each other's lives or gossip about others...

That was very nice. I remember liking those long phone calls a lot, when we don't get sick of hearing each other, and able to carry long conversations without feeling awkward or uncomfortable. That felt good.

Unfortunately I haven't had a long phone call in ages... I am not confident to say that it won't get awkward with those peeps anymore.. I miss those times.

But today was quite a good day I think, went out studying (w Harold Cel QF) but didn't do much lol. Found out that gantz 2 is not showing anymore and felt very sian/angsty/sian. Hmmm then ate pizzas and lepaked with the usual lepak classmates lololol.

Even though they are very gross people, but staying out beats staying home!

Hahaha but the best part was 'tricking' Ling out of his home hahaha.

Happy teachers' day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today wasn't any emotional or sentimental at all, unlike many others I'd believe.

Instead, I went out with the weirdest combination ever lol. I went out with people I have never/hardly gone out with.

TPJC > PRCS > Buddy Hoagies > Stupid Crazy Love > Kbox > Mr Chicken rice lol.

It felt like I just made friends but we had fun nevertheless!!!

Lol yep I'm an example of youths being politically apathetic.

But I think it's wrong to just judge without truly knowing what's going on about the every candidate. I also think that we definitely should not follow and be influenced blindly by what others say. So in light of these two above statements, I have not been any concerned about it actually.

On a sidenote: I saw on Twitter that Mr Tan CB plays the Ukelele and I think he is really cool!!!

Ate Just Acia with some of the class people Jem Lucas Cel Qf Eileen and talked!!!
Had my longest talk with Lucas (which actually wasn't very long too lol)
Met the choir girls Chrissy Huiyi for dinnerz.

Saturday:

LION KING!!!!!!!!!!! Omg, the best musical I have ever watched. THE BEST.
Went to MBS. (Omg the SFC memories.... Sweet, he's coming AGAIN! 8D)
Hung out with choir peeps and a new friend from Guitar (Christine) lol.
Played KRR with the guys and... How come everyone's getting so good at it ah? Srsly!!
Hmm first time feeling like I know these people better. Good. :)

Sunday:

Studied with Celestine and QF at the airport!
Ate poppeyes- Poppeyes sides are at $1 now! Omg I love the mashed potato and cup corn!!
After both of them left, I met Vanetta and studied overnight.
But I was sleeping for more than half of the time LOL. Only woke up after V told me we were being judged by some guys and some aunty lol.

Monday:

Slept in the noon and met the fatties Weilin Lixuan and V again, at night for Suckseed!!!!
Very cute, funny, relaxed show.

Basically, I did nothing much besides going to school and studying for tests.

Because of the ongoing tests, I have been studying in the hope of passing everything because this is the last set of papers before the big thing and I really don't want to screw them up like previously.

Also, hmm my class (not long ago) just made our dearest teacher cry. No biggie in sec school days but here in a junior college, it's a big thing... (Saying a vulgarity to a teacher is seen as a "violation of rights" here, not that I'd swear in front of teachers, but then those things were common in sec school days...) Not that we were super guilty about it, we carried on studying for another subject while she's gone. Yeah such assholes we were.

Hmm so beside studying and studying, I still had some time for my dramas. Ok maybe those 'free' time I came up with was in exchange of not doing my homework. Yep I'm such a 宅女.

But thankfully on Friday I met up with V and Lixuan which made my week a lot more exciting. We went to town for movie(zookeeper, funny show) and dinner(xinwang's papaya noodles are (Y).) and got some stuff and lepak-ed until shops were closing and took a bus home from orchard. We talked nonsense again for the long bus ride but it was all so fun hehehe. We were all tired but it was a good get-together!!

I really love these Friday nights. The respite after studying and facing the stress from school and whatnot. Fuels me the energy to keep going for the new week before another great Friday comes. Awesome.

My weekend is burnt because yesterday I had to do PW and after that I went to my gramp's place. (Omg dear Ah gong, please get better. I'll pray for you. Please please please get well!!!!! ); ) And I didn't do much there but slacked my whole day away. Today I'm going to meet the class peeps to studehhhhh for tomorrow's math test which I have no confidence in.

Yep also glad there are funny mates in school who make school sound a little better.
